The makeup effect you see here was one of dozens of makeup fx done for a film called Dead Heist. The makeup I used on the prosthetics was the (premier products. skin illustrator fx palette)
The material used for this makeup was (michael davy's water-melon vinal) I made dozens of prosthetics for the film. I literally covered the floor of my fx lab at home with all of these sculptures of gashes and throat wounds. This was the most largest amount of molds I had ever made at that time.
Working on a production with alot of makeup fx takes alot of help . I  mean it's not like you have ten arms and legs and can be in five places at once...and with that being said I would like to give special thanks and credit to the assistants of (Holly Sago., Derek Hill., and B..Kyle Lewis.)  If it weren't for all that support we would have never pulled it off...thanks guys  !
Like to watch a video in time lapse of that makeup well here you go....i would also like to give credit to (Craig Thieman) for shooting this video
I strive to be the best I can be at everything in my f/x and painting is no exception. You know I've seen some bad effects before where the guy couldn't sculpt and then to make matters worse he painted that thing with one flat color. I  thought it was funny maybe I shouldn't have...but then I noticed he was really arrogant so I thought to my self I'm glad I'm not that guy.....I am an ever learning artist and will never stop because effects will always be evolving.
Welcome to the shop! Chances are you have a production that needs special fx. Now whether or not your film is going to have an (old age., zombie .character, makeup,.or maybe even a mechanical creature from a cut throat to severed heads and limbs from werewolves to vampires) all manner of makeup and creature fx I can make it from scratch.
makeup fx like these could be used for a number of things. The great thing about these makeups is that they're very quick to do.
I can make the same makeup not look so horrific by decreasing the amount of dark shadows inside the wounded area.
I do all my painting or makeup fx in multi layered glazes of colors . So all my creatures., props,. or makeups .can have that lived in look. In short i can make them look real.
An extremely useful tool that I can offer to a production is overlays. As you can see i can start with just a simple photograph and literally in hours I will have brought to life a living creation before it's even created. I can also do this with makeups.
