I can still remember just like it was yesterday that one movie that really made me crazy about this stuff.  Everybody has one and as main stream as it sounds mine was  the film Friday the 13th. You know i think you have to be of that generation and maybe it was where I  was just a kid  but when I seen those first three films I was just flat out scared to death yet so excited about this you couldn't shut me up and it was like pouring gasoline on a fire for me to see the final chapter ..that was it here I was snatching as much ketchup from the kitchen as I could and cutting my dads joint compound buckets into hocky masks .hell I didn't know anything about stuff like sculpting or mold making ..as disappointing as it may sound the truth is i'm a late-bloomer I actually didn't get into makeup and monster effects till the year 2000 .I've always been an artist what with my drawings and painting ..well maybe not always but since I was a kid ..ha- I've actually had people ask me what school did you go to to learn this stuff. Ive always thought that's so funny i guess it's just wear this stuff is so fun to do .. I'm the type of guy that's always going in and out of hobbies and honestly i was burned out on the art i was doing this shit is just one dimension on paper and i should have been better at it to be in my twenties  so here i was thinking back when I was a kid and trying to figure out what form of art I really loved the most and stressing myself to not get in to another big boy toy  and as stupid as it may sound I thought back to that boy who loved Friday the 13th  and thought what would I have done then if I had known what I know now .so with some browsing on the internet and about a thousand dollars in stuff I could barely cover one side of a small table with I sat out on a journey that will never ever be over.
